author's note: a valentine's day story for everyone, but especially for

bandonbanshee who wrote one for Lewis and Daniel and *ahem* me. Please go read love is a serious mental disease if you haven't already.

Now for the story, in which an angry young gossip columnist gets her celebrities all wrong, and a little balm for her wounds. Daniel and Lewis, of course, make an appearance. Hope you like it! Feedback is cherished.

Hello and welcome! It's been a while, but Danny's still very much alive and functional.This is a little ficlet set in the universe Danny inhabits with

bandonbanshee's Lewis, and assorted other characters, sometime after the events in Orange Juice. All the background you need to know is that Lewis is Daniel's partner, blond, British and estranged from his father Jeremy Knightley. Lewis' unwell sister Sarah lives with him and Daniel. This is what happens when Jeremy comes to New York City and finds it more intolerable than usual.
